A St. Louis native Anthony holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and an MBA from the University of Missouri–St. Louis and brings a background in corporate accounting and strategic planning. He founded Table for Lou to combine his professional expertise with his passion for food, community, and empowering young people. Outside of Table for Lou, Anthony enjoys playing chess and spending time with his bulldog and niece. In 2026, he was honored as the Volunteer of the Year by the State of Missouri. He believes that we should all “be the change that you wish to see in the world.”  Michael Creek, Vice Chair ![Fav-T4L\_032025-3](https://tableforlou.org/hs-fs/hubfs/Fav-T4L_032025-3.jpg?width=5513&height=3680&name=Fav-T4L_032025-3.jpg) Michael Creek serves as Vice President of Table for Lou and brings a lifelong passion for food, community, and giving back to St. Louis. A former professional soccer player, Michael joined Table for Lou after moving home from Tulsa and finding a way to combine his love of food with his desire to support the city he loves. Outside of Table for Lou, he enjoys cooking, going for walks with his wife, spending time with family and friends, and watching soccer. A fun fact about Michael is that he has played the cello since he was nine years old. His motto is, “Luck is where opportunity and preparation meet.”  Melissa Wright, Secretary ![Fav-T4L\_032025-27](https://tableforlou.org/hs-fs/hubfs/Fav-T4L_032025-27.jpg?width=5324&height=3554&name=Fav-T4L_032025-27.jpg) Melissa Wright serves as Secretary of Table for Lou and works as a respiratory therapist. Melissa is passionate about giving back to her community and creating meaningful connections through food and service. Outside of Table for Lou, she enjoys spending time with her dog, traveling, attending live music and festivals, and enjoying meals on a patio. She also attends an annual music festival in Cape Cod, where she proudly wears a shark costume. Her motto is, “Everything in its own time.”  Amanda Zhu, Treasurer ![Fav-T4L\_032025-21](https://tableforlou.org/hs-fs/hubfs/Fav-T4L_032025-21.jpg?width=5228&height=3490&name=Fav-T4L_032025-21.jpg) Amanda Zhu serves as Treasurer for Table for Lou and is a medical student passionate about health equity and supporting underserved communities. She joined Table for Lou because she believes food plays an important role in health and loves helping young people learn how to create meals at home. Outside of Table for Lou, Amanda enjoys cooking, dancing, watching movies, and spending time with friends. She also performed in her first musical and used to play Korean drums. She lives by the motto, “Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...it's learning to dance in the rain.”  Danette Elliott-Mullens, Board Member ![T4L\_032025-47](https://tableforlou.org/hs-fs/hubfs/T4L_032025-47.jpg?width=5447&height=3636&name=T4L_032025-47.jpg) Danette Elliott Mullens serves as a Board Member of Table For Lou and works as a physician specializing in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Danette is passionate about connecting with and supporting young adults as they navigate through life. Outside of Table for Lou, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing piano, watercolor painting, and listening to PBS and NPR. She believes in leading with compassion and lives by the motto, “You cannot save people, you can only love them.”  ## Staff Table for Lou's staff are what make everything possible!
